Spring has Sprung

Spring has Sprung! A flourishing  time for nature. It is time to stowaway all the hats, scarfs and winter gear! And now I have to unearth all of my cute summer dresses and skirts. While winter was a warm one for Chicago, I still missed being able to wear my warm weather clothes.

Dash of Red

Again with a dash of red! It is the best way to brighten an outfit and my red heels go so well with the red flowers on my dress.

Red is inherently exciting and draws attention, a little bit of red goes a long way. A keen use of red as an accent can immediately focus attention on a particular element.

This red and black pattern dress was a piece that I found on my trip to Europe in the winter, along with my black and gold boots. My lipstick shade matches my dress too! The pink purse is from Michael Kors and the necklace is from H&M.

Spring Blossom

The Lincoln Park Conservatory, a true gem of Chicago, is just a beautiful place to walk through with palm trees, exotic plants, and an orchid room! Blossoming now is the Spring Flower show with pastel flowers and frames placed through the showroom. This is a great way to welcome spring!

To show my excitement for my visit to the conservatory I went with a floral skirt, As well as my unique handmade flower ring that I picked up from my last visit to Europe. I paired this outfit with classic black heels and rhinestone bordered neckline sweater.

Exploring Tulum

We spent the day exploring Mayan ruins that tower over the sea in Tulum. It is one of the most picturesque archaeological sites in the Riviera Maya!

With hot and humid temperatures, I still wanted to look cute and fashionable while exploring and sightseeing. I opted for a cute black and gray lace dress with white rhinestone sandals.
